The town has plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, tapas bars, banks, schools and a bus station that has links to the bus networks here in Spain. The E15/A7 motorway is only 5 mins away and runs the full length of Southern Spain and Portugal. There are three airports, that are within one and a half hours drive, Almeria, Murcia and Alicante. For the golfing enthusiast, there are five golf courses, one of which is the famous, Dessert Springs. The beautiful beaches are only 40 mins away, the main resort, being Mojacar Playa with it's pristine beaches and many restaurants and bars. The old part of Mojacar is the Pueblo, which hugs the hillside, it's white houses, cobbled streets and shops are a must to meander around, truly Spanish.
